About Us

The Police Citizens Advisory Council (PCAC) consists of civilian volunteers and assigned police officers. The PCAC will promote an alliance of its citizens and the Bellevue Police Department through joint activities and the sharing of ideas.

The PCAC was created as an independent and educational organization that promotes and supports community policing, crime prevention and education initiatives developed by BPD. There is an exchange of ideas and discussion of current issues and problems in the community, between officers and PCAC members, to help the PD better understand what the community ex
pects from its police department as well as an understanding of what the police department is doing for the community.

The PCAC meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Public Schools Welcome Center located at 1600 Highway 370 (Northwest Corner of Fort Crook Road & Highway 370). Bellevue Citizens are encouraged to attend these monthly meetings.
